How customers opt in to texts
Published so carriers, campaign reviewers and customers can verify how consent is collected. Each business texts only people who contacted it. Numbers are never bought, rented, shared or uploaded from any list.
Who sends the messages
The messages come from the business you contacted. Raimovia and RAIMVOICE are the software that business uses to send them, provided by ECONTEUR LLC. Every message identifies the business by name.
Opt-in path 1 - the customer texts the business first
A customer sends a text to the business's number. That inbound message starts the conversation and is the customer's consent to a reply in that thread. The business's AI receptionist answers in the same thread and identifies the business by name.
Opt-in path 2 - the customer gives their number on a phone call
A customer calls the business, or answers a call they asked for. Before taking a mobile number, the AI receptionist says this out loud and waits for a yes: "Is it alright if we text you at this number about your appointment? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time to stop."
The number is only saved for texting after the customer agrees. The call recording and transcript are kept as the record of that consent and can be produced on request. If the customer says no, the number is used for that call only and is never texted.
What the messages are
Replies to a message the customer sent the business, follow-ups after a call the customer made or missed, appointment confirmations, reminders and rescheduling, quotes, booking links, payment links and receipts the customer asked for, and a request to review a completed visit.
Frequency, cost, and stopping
Message frequency varies with the customer's own conversations, appointments and requests. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to stop texts from that business number; one confirmation follows and nothing further is sent unless the customer opts back in. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or email support@raimovia.com.
Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers and message records are used only to deliver messages, honor opt-outs and keep the service secure, and are shared only with the service providers that deliver messages, such as Twilio, or when the law requires it.
